When I registered for this forum I was asked what Ford model I had--the transit connect was not listed. the Connect was introduced to the US in 2010 and it might be time to give it a little more notice.
Also, in looking for accessories I notice that this forum lists accessories in a general category--I would like to see a Transit Connect Accessories thread.
Other than those quibbles, I think this is a great forum and I appreciate the work to takes to keep it going. Thank you.
It looks to me that we are on our own. Good. Let's make this the best Transit Connect Forum on line. You got questions, ask. You got ideas, speak. You got problems, let us know. The Transit Connect is a new animal in the US and we are the focus group--so to speak.
So when someone addresses one of my inputs on this forum, the comment goes to my email. If I respond via email does my response then show up on this forum? I pay attention to this forum and I'm not overly thrilled about having my email mailbox filled with duplicate material. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
There is a way to set subscriptions to standard or off. I don't' remember exactly where it is on the profile settings though. You'll still have to unsubscribe to any that were already turned on.
I am glad to see activity in the TC section. I troll this, Transit and the new SD and F150 mostly. Gotta stand up for us poor salesmen so the internet myths don't get too far outta hand! Plus I get a good perspective of what owners are experiencing. My new Fords are my Fiesta and my wifes Focus. My old trucks aren't quite current.
YES, I CAN DELETE THIS PARTICULAR FORUM, OR I CAN DELETE THE WHOLE FORUM. NEITHER OF WHICH IS WHAT I WANT TO DO. I WOULD LIKE TO COME TO THIS FORUM ONCE OR TWICE A DAY AND HAVE A CONVERSATION. TO HAVE EVERYTHING IN DUPLICATE IS A PAIN.
Yes, I too, have found that my requests are not granted. What my wife says is, "put on your big girl panties and get over it."
Yes there are only a few members on this forum, and yes. you can't get everything you want. But so what?
Relax. the neat thing is we have a forum. There may not be a lot of people here, but they have stuff to say. You, for example, have done a stellar job in searching out the possibilities for wheels and tires. I find that pretty interesting. Frantz is a treasure trove of info and set me straight in a number of my assumptions. And I like George--he is direct, old-school, and a realist.
The TC is a new product in America and this forum is pretty much at the point. I like it! And I've liked your explorations. Your attitudes, however, are a bit harsh. Hey, it's all good. enjoy!
