Shifting problem
My bronco runs great except, it rarely will shift down when punching the gas. It does not always shift even out of overdrive when giving it gas in a passing or hill sitiuation( I just turn it off by hand). I have a 1996 with a 351. All my other fords would shift out of overdrive when giving it some throttle. They also would shift way down when you punch the throttle. My tranny does not slip and shifts fine other then when passing or punching it to get up a sand hill etc. What do you guys think? I do have 456 gears and 36 inch tires but I had gears and tires on my last truck and it drove perfectly. Thanks

Shifting problem
Sounds like a switch or linkage out of adjustment. I'd start there. I suspect you have a computer controlled tranny. If your tires and gears threw off your speedometer, you'll probably have to recalibrate your speed sensor to make things work again.
