Powerstroke Swap

Hello to all,
I have a 98 Powerstroke (early 99 I think), out of an E-350 ambulance, that I've put in a 90 F-350. I got it running today.
My questions are:
1. Where is the oil pressure sending unit? (trying to hook up oil pressure guage).
2. Is there any way to make the tach work? I hooked the wire from the PCM that is supposed to go to the tach to my wire under the dash that goes to the tach, but nothing happened.
3. Is there any way to hook up the speedometer? Truck had a mechanical speedo run by a cable from t-case. (swapped E4OD with a 99 ZF 6-speedand t-case). I know the speedo runs off the speed sensor in the rear end. Can I take a wire straight from the rear end to the PSOM?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Craig

Your tach in the dash must be from a diesel. Also same seires year. Because it runs off the CPS and there were different sensors depending on the year. If you still have the old cable driven speedo then no it will not work. Let me check on the temp sensor. Hope this helps.

The sending unit is on top, at the front of the engine.

OK Tack is from diesel, but not the same year... It moves just a little so I know it is gettting some input from the wire...Maybe I can find a newer tach. Does it HAVE to be a early 99? what other years might work?

Sorry I did not make clear. I have speedo from ambulance also. I've trimmed it to fit in the same spot where my cable driven unit was. Looks real good but it is not hooked up to anything.

Thanks Ggg6 for the quick post

Thanks alanscott for the post. I found the wire that goes to the back of the instrument cluster. it is now spliced in to my original wiring harness and running the original guage.

I now have a voltage guage, oil pressure, fuel level, and maybe a temp guage working.

I haven't run her long enough to let the temp guage move. If you find out anything let me know. Thanks again.

I drove her around the drive/ yard and everything seems to be working except the powersteering, but thats another post.

Thanks,
Craig
