mp3 cd compatibility

I have an '03 F-150XL Sport v6 4.2l w/CD. Does anyone know if the CD will play a CDR/CDRW with mp3's burned on it or does it accept only "audio" CDR/RW's?

I'm pretty sure it's just audio (.wav format) that they will play. If they did play MP3's then I'm sure Fords' marketing department would have let you about it.
