Dear Sirs,

was looking to change "again" spark plugs for my Expedition 2007 Ed. Bauer 5.4 at local non-official service in Kazakhstan (unfortunately Ford cancel its dealership here in 2010). The serviceman told me that I need to have spark plugs with resistance at least of 6 to 8 kOm for proper ignition. Mine was 3-4 kOm and they refused to install it. I've been searching through Internet and even Motorcraft plugs stating 5.4 kOm in their specification. Been tried to get official response from Ford, but they politely ask me to work away since they are servicing USA only ... Would be possible for anyone of you be so kind and supportive to yours "friend in arms" from far away country and ask Ford what is exact their recommendation for the Spark Plugs of the Ford Expedition 2007 Eddie Bauer 5.4 (VIN 1FMFU18597LA93545 - but they will told that this car sold outside of USA and refuse to support as usual)?

Your personal kind advise is also much appreciated! Don't let me sink in this kind of battle with local service

I have a 2007 Navigator with all the factory manuals. My engine is the same as yours. I cannot find an ohm specification for spark plugs in these manuals.
I measured a used spark plug that was working good in my engine. The ohm meter measures 6 ohms on the electrode end to end.
The spark plug is a Motorcraft PZH 14F Platinum.

What kind of spark plugs do you want that mechanic to install in your engine?
I do not know who to call at the Ford Motor company and I don't think they would spend any time looking for the specifications for me.
How else could I help you?

Thank you, Richard! Really appreciate yours kind help and spending time. So will assume that the original Motorcraft spark plugs will have resistance from 5.4 (I saw on some box specification) to 6. If it not fits to this range will consider its counterfeit keeping in mind all other sings of fake spark plugs which seems we have a lot on the local market.

I bought some time ago the E3.70 Spark Plug, but they have resistance from 3 to 4 ohms and mechanics refused to install it due to resistance.
