I'm no mechanic, but I was under the truck today and saw these two bolts at the rear of the oil pan, shouldn't they be tighter? This is a new to me truck btw, and my skills are limited.
That doesn't look like they are in the oil pan but in the block casting and probably for where the clutch linkage pivot goes. If your truck is an Automatic trans you don't need them.
