guys we just bought some chrome headlights for our 92. we got them install but they have a pretty big air hole in them. was wondering what yall have done, did yall leave it open or sealed it up?
I just installed some in my truck a few months ago, it has the hole in the headlight housing. I left it open. Doesn't fog up at all no matter when it's humid, rain or I'm washing it
You can see one of the two notches (holes) that each housing has on the right side above the nipple. These are notched at an angle to prevent water from entering while driving
out of all the info and pics you've posted this line, and pic is the only thing helpful to your question lol.
interesting.iv never seen the holes in the lights before.oddly shaped too.almost as if it's done in error.one would think the housing should be sealed.
you have a "clear" headlight question as opposed to a "chrome" one.
Air holes in the headlights are the first to my knowledge. Even when I bought 2 sets for 2 trucks, by 2 different vendors, they pretty much advised to put a thin layer of clear silicone around the sealing area.
