rear a/c problems

I have a 95 E-250 clubwagon van and the rear a/c in not blowing out of the top vents when I cut it on. The front a/c works fine but the rear floor heater turns on when the rear a/c switch is turned on. Just wondering if there is a manual overide or a change over switch for rear heat/ac that I can disengage. Any suggestions?

rear a/c problems

Some of those mid 90's rear a/c are plagued with broken door in the plenum. You can buy just the door. You can remove the interior quarter panel and see if the vacuum motor is getting vacuum. It is possible you simply have a vacuum leak to it. Maybe a cut, broken or pulled off line, or a bad vacuum switch at the panel.
