Morning gents, gonna have to head out and check the trail cameras soon, and feed the chickens, then get started on more firewood lol. Oh and finish painting the cupboard doors and stain some trim.

On a side note I finally found a holster for my desert eagle 1911 yesterday. It's a black hawk paddle holster for a lefty and I love it! I can finally start carrying it lol

Morning Micah. It is going well. Looking at getting a couple of new toys soon for the range. And I wish it wasnt going to rain tomorrow or I would take my newest toys out for some fun at the range.

Pat it's a standard sized 1911 45acp. Just made by magnum research aka desert eagle.

It is one of the nicest shooting 1911s I have ever shot.




And I still need about 4 more cord of firewood to be safe and have enough to heat the shop

 

It looks nice Micah. My newest one is a reproduction Remington 1858 New Army.

 

Oh, okay. I should have picked up the 1911 part. I thought about getting a .45. I have a 9mm now, and have been thinking of getting another handgun.

 

I love 45acp. pat. Especially 1911s, but the fact you can carry alot more ammo in today's polymer pistols is really appealing. Like for example, if I carry my xd 40 with my three mags I have 36 rounds of 180gr hollow points. We're my 1911 with three magazines I will have 24 rounds of 230gr hollow points.

If I had a 9mm xd I would have about 50 rnds with the same mags. But personally I like bigger calibers, means bigger wounds lol and since I am such a big guy I could easily conceal my 1911

 

I only have 6 rounds with the New army I have. I will be getting a few spare cylinders for it soon.
