New Gellery features

I am new to the galleries so forgive me if I missed something.

I would like to see the ability to search through the galleries. I would like to pe able to search for a particular year and or model or keyword (crewcab). I would also like to be able to seach picture descriptions. Maybe since that might be a bit too much maybe add some meta keyword fields for pictures.

If this is already there, it is not readily apparrent.

Thanks
John

Do to the astronomical amount of galleries trhe only means of sorting are by the categories(hyperlinks) along the top of the page in the album grid.

The one I prefer using is *Date* this allows me to see the new albums as they are created.There are 6 or 7 ways of sorting them.

These aren't galleries that are listed they are *Albums* within all the galleries.
What are there...200 pages or 20 albums that's 4000 albums to view.

You know what would be good ?
If users would title their albums in such a way that would be beneficial to a search.
But they don't, they leave out their location, Year of truck, they use 5 or 6 of the same letter (ie: BBBBBBBBBad) to try impress
people.

These things are not helpful in job of sorting.

Thanks Dennis;

I do under stand your predicament. My feeling is there can sometimes be very useful information in some of those galleries and it would be nice to limit the scope somehow.

As you said, with 4000 album's it is nearly impossible to find specifics.

Maybe an alternative would be a seperate seach "spider" kind of bot that stroll through the album and index any useful info. That information could then be searched instead.
