Front hub problem
Hi, I have a 1990 4x4 ranger V6 4.0 (auto hubs). I had problems with a clicking noise in the front tires after disingaging my 4x4, but the 4x4 seemed to work fine. Then i decided to do a little rock climbing with it. It worked great for a while, but then i heard the inside of the hubs spinning, and the front tires no longer spun. I got home and took off the tires and the little metal things that stick out to engage the hubs snapped off....Could some one tell me what these are called so that i can replace them ?.....Do you think i should just go to manual hubs ??, if so how much is it , and is it hard to do ?

Front hub problem
the inside parts are part of the "hub" there probbly are individual names but when you buy it you shuld buy the hole thing, around $50/ side. i like manual hubs. ive heard some trucks are harder to switch then others, may ned more than just the hub.
