Hello Again "Bozzzz94"
My other vans are in storage in New Mexico but I recently picked up a very sweet extended length 1997 Aero on a government based web site for all of a paltry sum of $201.30 about 2 months ago now. Weird reAlly how it all came about. I had been driving my 2001 Saturn sl2 5 spd. Was getting 40 mpg then the fuel pump went out.
My plan was to get a beater and fix the Saturn. Welllllllll-as it turns out the van was so sweet I'm driving it now and still haven't touched to little car. Yes-I know I'm not getting the mileage-butttttt-there is just something about these rides that I love THAT WE ALL LOVE!
Plain Jane reAlly doesn't totally describe this vehicle. Window cranks, no tinted glass a prison van. Found original with Dow sticker $22,000.00 bought for $201.30. Not to bad. Went to pick it up. Fuel gas tank, New tires, New battery and the front air will freeze you out. Rear air is inop for now. Haven't looked into it actually.
White van, ugly gray bumpers (already changed to a front white bumper on it now and have also the rear which hasn't been changed out yet.
I drive up to the VA in OKC OK for doctor appointments on Wed and Fridays then to my favorite wrenching yard LKQ.
Sorry for going on. You can read all of my original post from years gone by. My interest is RE-SPARKED.

I have and am in the process of updating it. From basic stereo to the cassette. Don't laugh, I'm nostalgic. I'm getting my "fresh" 1977 Chevy nova 4 door sedan "custom" on the road and it came stock with a 8 track. My 97 Eddie Bauer Expedition is all decked out with 8 speakers and multi-disk CD.
Just grAnted access "free pickings" to an shut down auto shop that had been in business since 1974. A lot was auctioned off but a ton remains and if I clean as I go I can have everything. Everything you can think of. Engines, gaskets, hoses, etc......... Everything. The new owner is bringing in a mattress company and has no use for anything.
SWEEEEEEEEEEET- I'm in hog heaven.
Van was left there locked up in the building tonight. Seems that she wanted to let go the heater hose type hose that connects to the bottom radiator hose on the drivers side and tear-drops off and connects to the water pump. Instead of worrying I just continued working in the auto shop and then backed it in to finish in the morning.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh the treasures I have yet to discover. Free FRee FREEEEEEE!
