79 f150 transfer case problem

I've been working on getting my 79 f150 back on the road, I just picked it up after it has been sitting for about 10 years but I was pushing it today while the trans was in neutral but the transfer case was in 4wd but it seems like something is binding in the t case it will roll then it catches I put it in 2wd and neutral and it does not do it does any one know what's going on?

Mine did the same thing. I pulled the hubs and found the driver's side was busted.
