Ghosts in my gauges
Cruisin along in my pickup today, watchin the oil pressure and temp gauges pretty close because everythings pretty new and all of the sudden, I notice my temp almost maxed out. I FREAKED! Then I noticed my oil pressure was maxed also and somehow I had gained fuel in my tank. I started slowing down and the gauges went back to normal. Any ideas?

This happens all the time.
It's time you took the cluster out and cleaned it.
Clean all the printed circuit with electrical cleaner and put it back.
What happens is, there is more ground than the sending unit system is supposed to have changing the gauge readings.
