Hi, So my 2011 F250 6.2 KR is having some TPMS issues.
When I bought it, the TPMS light was active so I figured the last owner just didn't put sensors in it when he got the mud tires put on it. So I ordered new tires and Ford TPMS sensors to put on, well, it didn't help.
I followed both TPMS relearn procedures I could find, which was the air down method, and the remote clicker thing. Neither worked.
I pulled codes this morning, and I found B124D, and B1182. The Google machine is clear on the B124D code, no communication with one or more sensor. It gives me two different definitions of the B1182. A squib circuit failure, and a TPMS module fault.
I've tried finding things to check, but it seems most TPMS diagnostic issues are solved by retraining, which hasn't helped.
I don't have any aftermarket items in the truck that could cause RF interference.
So, after reading my trucks life story, if anyone has any direction for this, I'd appreciate it.
The dealer can reset the system and retrain the sensors. Don't know if it's relevant to your issue but my wife's SRX had an issue that was traced back to a bad receiver module.
