Any one know if these are a standard Ford windscreen, or as I suspect the screen is a "special".
I had a slight mishap when refitting the screen, had to be the drivers side that cracked.
Is the company that did the conversion still in business?
My WAG would be that they would use some other regular production glass from another fairly common vehicle so they would not have to have custom windshields made.

Dang, bad luck ol' chap!
I agree, maybe some other production glass? Hmmm, I would try checking with some regular ol' replacement automotive glass outfits. More than likely they run across some strange replacements on occasion, and oddly enough, just might know exactly what you need. Take a picture with you, shouldn't cost nuthin' to ask.

This truck was sold new as body style 84 - Open Drive-Away Chassis and Cowl. The body (including the windshields) was installed after the truck left the assembly line.
Thanks Numberdummy, I guessed as much.
I have a couple of leads on windscreen manufacturers, and have been doing some research on crack repairs that look promising.
Looking good Artif,
I was wondering if that windscreen and surrounds was from a locally produced truck or coachbuilder. It does look similar to say the curved two piece screens of an Atkinson, or Foden or even a Bedford of that era. I know here in Australia bus, truck builders and Fire dept. etc. did some strange mix and match things to get a truck or bus completed even if it meant using the oppositions parts.
Just a thought.
Geoff
Thanks rokwiz, the vehicle is definitely a bitsa, the side windows are from a Scottish company, some of the lights are U.K made, some are German.
The windscreens are made by Arva, which I believe are a Finnish glass company, so there may be some Finnish vehicles that the windows are from.
It seems that Arva are now part of the Pilkington group, which is an avenue I need to explore.
