Mounts for a 300 inline

I'm going to mount a 300 six in my 1960 F100 4x4 but the previous owner has hacked all the cross bars and motor mounts off the frame. I was going to box the frame anyway but could use some guidence on what to do to install the motor mounts. Would it be better to use a cross member of some kind or just weld some type of extensions on the frame to attach the mounts? Any help (pictures would be great if anybody has any) would be appreciated.

On another note: I've been on the site for a while and asked a lot of questions and everybody here has been great! REALLY helpfull! I can't thank everyone enough. I would like to start posting some pics, do I have to be a paying member to do that? Not sure how to get them posted.
