Howdy FTE!
I'm Erik, and I'm new to the site. I've owned 2 Mustang GT's and both were home made rockets, and both were sold as they got me into alot of trouble in my younger years...lol. I also used to have a 2005 F 350 6.0 King Ranch that I poured alot of pride and joy into. Had to do all the standard upgrading to it, but then 6 out of 8 injectors went bad right at the wrong time as my wife and I were in the process of moving out of state, so back to the bank it went. I felt bad as I knew it needed all 8 injectors. Oh well... life goes on.
A buddy asked me to help him out on a engine swap, and I have alot of questions as I'm not familiar with the older FI and Duraspark setups, as he is wanting to transplant a newer 5.0 truck engine into a 1986 model. Be prepared for lots of questions if I can't find answers in the FAQ... lol! Glad to be part of a very informative site!
