I've seen pictures of square auxiliary lights, like those from Rigid, mounted in the bumpers of current SDs near the tow hooks. How are you guys mounting those lights? Are there custom brackets out there? Do you have to drill through the bumper to mount them?
Go by your local hardware store and pickup some L aluminum stock. There are holes already in the bumper up behind the license plate.
Just remove the plate and then you can see. The bolts holding the bar will be horizontal to the ground. Then you can drill a hole at either end to hold the lights.
Personally I painted mine black to blend in better. But it's a really easy project
