Thanks. Been a lot of work, and a bunch of things on my short list to do, but it runs pretty well now that it's tuned up (and has a new starter, and alternator/voltage regulator). I'll rebuild the carb and I then expect it to run perfectly. There are a couple of drips here and there that I'll fix one by one. Body is pretty solid though.

Where did you get the OEM rubber mat? I'm needing one for my f-600.

Very nice looking truck you have there!

Rollsmojave3: Believe it or not I got the truck in NY (Hudson Valley area). Apparently it came from somewhere in the Southeast about 10 years ago. I thought it would need paint, but it polished and waxed up nicely.

Fordman67: I think I bought the mat from wither LMC truck, or NPD. Check those first. Once I know the part exists I do a google search to see if I can find it cheaper. Amazon.com has a lot of parts too.

Hope that helps

Added a tonneau cover from CRAFT COVERS
They didn't list the '66 Shortbed on their website, but I called and gave them dimensions and they said they will start to list this model now. I picked them because they sold the least expensive covers I could find, but I was surprised at the high quality parts. All labeled made in USA although I wasn't expecting that because didn't see them advertising that on their site.

Thank you. It lies nice and flat. Does not cover the holes for the gate/fencing if I were to build one.
