Looking good. I like having the one rear 34 gallon tank better than having 2 tanks.

Old Bone......Are you using a galvanized tank? Ive been told by some pretty reliable sources that its not a good idea. Even with todays ULSD the sulphur will react with the zinc in the galvanizing and deposit zinc in your injection pump and injectors. I plan on using one of the liquid tank coatings on my 38 gal tank when I get to that point.

I ordered a 38 gallon tank for a powerstroke when I got it, but I just looked back at the description and its Ni-terne. So not Galvy. But thanks for the heads up!

I've been trying to decide whether to run all the fuel lines and the powerstroke tank selector just in case I do add a side tank in. Then I could make a trip back to Vermont from NC with like 1 fill up! But I may just stay with the 1 tank and call it a day. How many miles do you get out of that 34 gallon tank?

Then I could plum up the valve for my (eventually) rear air bags behind the front fuel door. Or something creative with it.

To anyone else doing this swap I found this setup.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/231730866413?item=231730866413&viewitem=&vxp=mtr
You tap into the VSS from the dodge and it converts it to a mechanical cable using the pulse signal. That guy is great to deal with and though the picture is a 5/8 thread style end he has the ford clip on style and will put that end on per request. Will also change the lengths from 24"-48" also per request.

Unloaded on the freeway I get 19 mpg. So without running on fumes I can go over 500 miles.

I was thinking the same. Now that my side tank is gone that's where my air bag compressor and tank is going to sit. Was thinking I'd put a air nozzle behind the front fuel door for filling up tires.

I've seen others use that front tank for gas. Then they use that gas to fill up their ATV/bikes.

Wow.....I looked at that. Then I think I forgot about it and figured it'd be cheaper to buy a GPS speedometer when it came time to redo the gauges in my dash.

How much was it?

Yeah a retractable hose would be a sweet idea!! Mount the real under the bed haha.

Cool so with a 38 gallon I should be able to do 500 easy.

$285. I haven't ordered it yet cause I gotta verify my thread size since I have the cruise control adapter on the firewall.

That would be nice.

I think this is why I didn't buy it. Figured I'd put that money into revamping the dash and getting all the gauges I needed in there with an electronic speedo. But who knows when that will happen, so this is a decent temporary option.

Got the new turbo on and it fits great with the Gen 3 manifold! Also the 4" downpipe will work flipped around with the end cut off and welded back on. Its like it was meant to fit that way lol.

Got a TON of stuff done this weekend! Still have loads to do but she runs!!

The welds on the downpipe look like crap because the aluminized coating :/, but got the new downpipe made from the 4" HX40 pipe.

Also had an intercooler pipe laying around that was waiting for my turbo'd 70 Duster project but it fit so perfect with the new turbo that I used it. I didnt even have to cut it. Loops up over the shock tower like it was meant to be a kit!

Had to shorten the downpipe on the other side as well. Also got the radiator and intercooler mounted. Ordered an aftermarket 12x18 AC condenser so it fits up front a little better.

Ordered a cable shift kit from summit to take care of the shift linkage. That came in last night.

ididit Steering Column Cable Shift Linkage Kits 2801750010 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing

Also got the new steering box and lines in and made. My steering shaft was all bound up so I bought a new shaft as well.

Borgeson Universal Telescoping Steering Shafts 000977 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing

Got everything else wired up as well. But I used a 95 ford sending unit for the fuel tank and when I have 1/4 tank in the tank its 3/4 full on the dash >.< so im gonna have to put some type of circuit in to change my resistances around. Unless someone else has a good idea!

Still have a ton to do. But hearing it start was definitely a big motivator!

The "stack" was just for fun. Wont be how its set up.
