Does the 6 cylinder gas pedal linkage terminate at the pedal with a flat end or does it have ball? The V8 linkage I have ends with a ball but the 6 just has a flat end. I have a bad feeling the 6 cylinder linkage has the ball end broken off but I thought I would check here first.
I think what you are missing is a spring that goes over the flat end that you have and then a ball part that fits in the other end of the spring. Pretty sure that Mac's has both.
