Ok just to start, I already know how to calibrate for larger tires. I have had to do it twice already using the instructions I found on this site. The question I have is How do I calibrate back. When the jumper is hooked up and I am changing the cal number, the number scrolls down. How do I make it scroll UP? I haven't been able to figure that out yet. Should I scroll to 0 and then it starts bck up or what? Just wondering if anyone knows. Thanks in advance.
I JUST DID MINE AND I COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO GO DOWN EITHER. SO I JUST KEPT GOING UP UNTIL IT CAME BACK AROUND, NOTHING MAJOR THOUGH IT STARTS AT LIKE 500 I THINK, YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO ALL THE WAY TO 0.
Thanks everyone. I figured that was the way but wasn't sure. I don't have any plans to go to smaller tires, but it's still good stuff to know. Thanks again.
I did as the instructions said. I put in the 8.86 factor for my size tires. 32x11.5R15 BFG A/T. But it sure feels like im going slow when the speedometer says 70mph. Maybe Im just used to it the old way, or people this morning were all just running late for work . Anyway, tomorrow I'm gonna have my wife pace me in her car just to double check it.
Thanks guys. I have been pulled over too many times due to the larger tires affecting my speedometer. I have more questions about my truck, but will save them for later.
