C-6 gone?

C-6 gone?
I need some help really bad, yesterday I was driving and all of the sudden I hear this grinding noise and then I stopped, the engine was still running and still starts and runs fine BUT, I can't put the truck into gear. The only gear I have is reverse. I think the tranny is gone and I need some advise on what you guys think here. (1988 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer 5.8efi C-6) how much would the cost be to rebuild the transmission? or if I can find a good deal and supply a shop with the parts, how much would they charge me to put the new tranny in?

if you supply parts they give u no garentee fun huh
as for tranny cost a few thosand
well considering they prob use cheap crap/oem parts
used and afew buddies to help wirth the install
getting my stuff from tec
hd upgrade "kit" video, supl. cooler(16k gvw), shift kit, hd low stall t. conv(may not suit your needs the guys are good at giving u what u need or want), hd discs and steels kevlar front band and more stuff for 325 +tc core +shipping
well check for metal in it but grinding isn't usally good sound
as soon as it drys out i gotta go thru(hopefully not) the same thing over a torque converter
