i wish i could come across deals like that now that i'm older and wiser? i'm a fan of big blocks. i think a 460 or 429 would look just right in your 71. i also put a couple pictures of the 69 in my gallery if your interested.

OK, I do have to admit 71's are really fine lookin'. I even think 72's are nice, kinda have a 63 T-bird look. BUT, I'm getting in really deep on my 68 soooo I had better vote for the 68-69's. Have planned on a Mustang 5.0/AOD swap but am investigating the +'s and-'s of using a 4.6. Any comments on that thought?

My favorite year is 79.
Just cause its what I got. I put the 351w in it with a FMX transmission. I ain't got around to much body work on it yet due to relocation and trying to get some sort of shop setup again.

And by the way Hi yall I'm new here on this board.

favorite year

howdy guys my first ranchero was a 73 with a 429 and custom paint (flames) with 429 written on each front fender. i loved it ! But like every other guy i was young and dumb at the time and sold it. regretted it ever since. i have a 76 know and am transplanting a 400 into it as we speak. but hey with ranchero's its always the first one that has to be your favorite so hey the 73

Cool fav year

The 73 & up are pretty mean looking, ya gotta admit.
I have a 71 sitting in my garage waiting for some heads
Anyone know where to get some descent 302 heads(at low cost) here in So Cal ?
Anyway, this looks like a cool forum & look foward to the madness !!
Thanx !!!

I've got a '65 and a '64 I am parting out, so I guess they're my favorite!
