Filler neck

So I couldn't figure out why I could only put diesel in a very little at a time, I mean it took 20 minutes to fill.So today I finally took the filler neck off and found a piece of plastic hose.So my question is it supposed to in there or was someone trying to siphon fuel out.btw it's a 08 f250

I assume it had been filling ok and then recently you started having a problem? I would wager on the siphon theory (or someone just shoving that down the tube to be a jerk)

That's the tube from a siphon gadget. The end you have gets stuffed into the fuel, it runs up to a small hand pump, a hose runs from the pump to the thief's fuel tank.

By using this device, the thief doesn't have to risk a mouth full of diesel.
