Nobody seems to have what I want?

Nobody seems to have what I want? In the Seattle area there are a gazillion F150 XLT with 302a and "sport" package. Its almost the perfect truck for me. - ALMOST.

I really want the step tail gate. Some have this some do not. I also want NAV and the 36 gallon gas tank. I don't need the glass roof as nice as it is, or leather. I don't want to pay for it. In my younger days I was willing to buy something because it was a good deal, but with the price of these things today, I don't feel I should have to compromise.

Is there a Search engine I can use to find dealer stock that would have exactly what I want? or perhaps I should order one?

Have you talked with a dealer about exactly what you want?

You didn't provide enough details for an exact match of color, cab, engine, drivetrain, etc.

However, Evergreen Ford has a silver supercrew 4x4 XLT Sport with the 5.0L - 302a, Nav, 36-gallon tank, and tailgate step. VIN is 1FTFW1EF6FFC15366.

XPlan price is $42,784
APlan price is $40,736

If you post up more details, we can get an exact match...

Why don't you order one the way you want it?

The Rolling Stones said it. You Can't Always Get What You Want!

But you might be able to get what you need.

Step tailgate is not available on the XLT, Unless it's been changed recently.

Edit - nevermind, I guess it is available for the XLT, my bad.

My experience is that the best deals can be made on vehicles that a dealer already has in stock. If you can find exactly what you want on a dealer's lot, you can get a much better deal than ordering that same truck from the factory. Your mileage may vary...

The odds of finding a perfect odd truck are rare. Any extra $100 you save for buying in stock isn't worth the effort. If you came to my lot and wanted to order one I'd be happy to work any deal that I would if it were in stock, because I make just as much that way, and the dealership doesn't pay interest on it. The only risk is that you'd back out. Depending on what you want though you may be too late to order this year.

I use X-Plan, so the price is the same whether I order or buy off the lot.

AMP Research Bed Step Tailgate Step - Best Price on AMP BedStep Tail Gate Step for Trucks

I got one of these in lieu of the tailgate step.
Works good; less complexity then the factory tailgate unit.

That looks nice and simple! Will try to remember to check with you in a few months to see how it's holding up.

Your dealer should be able to plug that into the system and do a dealer search.
