External Bluetooth Mic Location

For all who have upgraded their sound systems and have gotten a new head unit with Bluetooth, where did you mount your mic? I decided against any of the head units with the built-in mic because review after review said they had problems with them of one sort or another.

Has anyone attempted to mount it in the dash somewhere? Or does everyone just clip it on to something?

I was hoping to avoid wires dangling about the cab.

When i had one installed in the wifes edge they put it on the headliner by the windshield and there were no visible wires
