Accidents happen, hopefully it was insured. My standard routine at the boat ramp is to put the truck in neutral, set the parking brake, and shift into park. This avoids putting undue pressure on the parking pawl. I have forgotten to put the truck into park once before, but the brake held without issue. Not something I would forget again, that scared the crap out of me!
Anyone notice the stupid people standing in very bad spots near the winch line? Tip loading the hooks as well the one I can see on the passenger side line. Crane operator here guess i'm bad for noticing that stuff .
