Aww that is too bad----she cut quite the gorgeous image back in her day. 
Not to bash her but seems she'd had a few bouts with drinking too much, we in the general public didn't hear a lot about that though---thankfully. I hope she was able to at least get the best of that over time.
She was also very well known in the Quarter Horse circles but I'm not sure to what extent. Perhaps an owner, breeder or accomplished rider---she'd be in attendance at the national American Quarter Horse Congress held here in Columbus, Ohio yearly, watching the contest and show classes.
