I can deal with hot for a while longer, itz just the dry that's kicking my ****. Somehow against all that's holy, my grass continues to grow.
Br'er Thomas & I had adventures in battery-swappin' this past weekend. Terri's expecting Optima delivery today from Summit & my Mustang can get itz Diehard back. Thomas also helped me button up the truck. Took it for a loop around Brandon this AM & it seems to be cured of the heat-soaked starter/weak battery blues. Digging' the built E4OD sofar. Just need a built Windsor to go with it.
Im a bit of a mustang junkie so im sure you can understand my interest lol. Is the fox a hatch or notch? Im not too sure how I feel about all red interior, but I cure can respect a clean, stock fox.
I'm dead smack in the middle of building a '98 GT, but its red on the outside not the inside.
All Fox GTs are hatchbacks or converts, 2-door only GTs didn't return till the SN-95s. The hideous interior is just chance... I'd have preffered charcoal or blue for both vehicles, but buying used, you take what is available.
Good luck with your 98 build. Lets have a look at it. Post us a pic.
Thanks. That's pretty impressive work you've got going on there. I'm only through page two so far. I might have to send you my ECU that needs some capacitors. My hands aren't too steady & my eyes are for damn sure not up to it.
Reminds me I've got a set of C-C plates my wife gave me for Christmas a few years back that need to go in. Got to come up with scratch for struts & bushings first.
Send it down here man. I built that computer and tested it on the laptop, everything seems good and it all works so far. I'm confident that I can get those capacitors swapped out.
I had a 1989 Mustang LX, purchased it from a fellow Marine in 1990. I loved that car, 5.0 & a 5 speed manual......
It was a 25th anniversary, had a 140 MPH speedo and 3:08 gears. But, I was too immature when I purchased it, dogged it pretty bad. It was in rough condition when I traded it, the engine ran great, just everything else......Just another one of the "live & learn" regrets I have.
