supercharged 5.4
I just got my dads expedition which is a 97 edie bauer with the 5.4 engine. it has around 90k miles on it. I have always been into performance and was wondering what kind of quarter mile and 0- 60 times this thing is capable of. I was wondering how much a supercharger would cost and how fast it would be after. I know that it will never be incredibly fast, but i was hoping for a little better performance.

Better be careful supercharging a 5.4 with that many miles on it. the internal components aren't made for all that horsepower, especially if they are worn. Look at beefing up your components, (like forged pistons, and molly rings).

what else do u plan on doing to it b/c u cant just trough on a supercharger and expect huge horse power increases u nead intake possiibly headers and cat back exaust and a chip so u can tune the computer then after all that with the supercharger then you will see some awsome power
