So my truck started doing this. Noticed you just posted last month and was curious if you got the issue fixed and how much it was.

What is the year and mileage on the truck and have you had the recall done on it yet?. They also have an Extended warranty for 10 Years 150,000 Miles on the Lead Frame for 11-13 F150's.

I think I’m out of warranty for the recall. It’s a 2011 with 167,000 miles.

Sounds like the lead frame harness in the transmission which is the wiring for inside the transmission. It is an issue we see pretty regularly in one form or another. I found where you can get it online if that is what is going on and save some money if you want to do it yourself.
