1956 Blower Motor/Wheel Solution Attempt
I found the "matching" wheel (fan) for it, an Everco 35608Z. The description says it fits the above 35502 motor and is a clockwise wheel which seems to mimic my own. Amazon doesn't specify whether the motor is clockwise or counterclockwise. But if this wheel is supposed to mate with it, I'm guessing clockwise. So clockwise, when facing the wheel from inside the cab. This is pulling the air from the heater core, inside the wheel and diverting it outwards through the ducts. I'll roll with it.
I guess if they are matching components it doesn't matter what way the motor spins as long as the wheel direction matches the motor direction.
Moving along, I have NO CLUE whether the wheel fits inside my recirculating heater housing. No dealer has specs on it. So, we'll ixnay that wheel. Four Seasons has a 4.25" diameter and 2.5" and 5/16" shaft CLOCKWISE wheel part number 35218. I'm going to order it and see how it goes.
If all this works maybe it'll be a solution for others looking to do the same thing. I went through previous forums and couldn't find an answer. I'll update when products arrive.
