FTE has several subscribers with 69s so you will most likely be getting more thorough info soon.
As you may have already noticed there are certain companys we can't mention here or their names get bleeped.but if you ask some one will talk to you on the side. Several of us are parts hoarders and junkyard scroungers so you are in the best place you can be for resources and info. I just sold an original a/c unit to a fellow subscriber and found him some parts he needed for his truck. I have a whole set of N.O.S. trim for a 72 custom longbed that I bought about 15 years ago and never installed, and some other N.O.S. peices so I am sure other enthusiests have similiar stashes for 69s. There has been quite a bit of repro stuff crop up in the last few years. I wasn't that fortunate when I restored my last one in 91 but you could still get a lot of stuff from Ford then. I got a new grille shell for a 72 then, right as they went obsolete. My parts man was an old pickup enthusiast and ordered several. They were only about $250 then, now they are $700. I should see if they have any left. By the way, that parts man got on the locator and found me one a set of obsolete side chrome for a 72 short bed. There was two sets left in the country at the time.
Some of the things Ford still has like the pedal pads. After checking this site go over to Hemmings Motor News. If you go to their website they will send you a free copy. It is full of vendors and personal classifieds. You will find at least 6 suppliers of restoration stuff specific to your model and a lot of other good stuff like Eastwoods and advertisers that specialize in restoation of things like guages, steering wheels ect.
Good luck and welcome aboard, you have my favorite year model.
