wastegate stopped working
After programming "tow performance" mode on my 02 F250 7.3 PSD with the new superchips 1705, the wastegate and black smoke started working as expected when hitting the pedal hard. The next morning when taking off, the truck made a clunking, grinding sound, it hesitated a bit, and was fine after that. At that time, the wastegate stopped flutering, and has not seemed to work since, no matter how hard I press the pedal. Is this a new problem? Any ideas? I can manually engauge the valve and the line going to the wastegate still looks good.

Not sure, guages will be next project. Plan on getting Autometer EGT, Trans temp. and boost guages with under-dash pod soon. Thanks. I actually heard the wastegate today as I was letting off the pedal. May actually be working, just not as sensitive as it was when I first programmed. Thanks.
