All good things must come to an end. I had to sell my '66, as it had been in South Carolina for 2 years waiting on me to call for it after I moved to Kentucky.
Things did not go well here in KY and I must move back home to SC. The truck was in a half-disassembled state, and I needed the money out of it, so I sold it to Tom at FlashBack F-100s. I have every confidence in him and the truck.
I wish I could have kept it, but I will not be able to work on it in any heavy duty way again.
I will still continue to lurk here as long as I am able, because many of you are friends who have enriched my life here at FTE.
I do no know how much longer I have, but I can tell you that a man's life does not consist of the abundance of things he possesses.
sorry to hear you're currently unattached. You certainly helped me many times and I had you down in my notes to call on when I start my brake revisions - since they say you're the expert. I hope you still stay on the site for that knowledge you pass to all of us.
Be well
John,
Thanks for all the help you've given me over my time here in FTE. You've come through many times. I hope at some point you can come home to the Palmetto State and maybe we can connect. Thanks and Godspeed! John M.
John, I am sorry to hear you say that you had to sell your 66, but more that your health has not improved. I know that I don't have the words to comfort, but in my short time as a member, you have been a lot of help to me and others in reading your answers to others questions that I was also running into. I hope that there may still be some help available for you, and that you can get back home to SC. Good luck, and prayers your way. Bob
