Hello all. Just wanted to provide an update, or closure, to this thread. Thanks to all of your help, but especially GLR's help, I can now drive the truck again. Today I dropped the damaged rear end out of the truck and installed the good one. Got the driveshaft mounted back up and lubricated, got the rear end filled up and sealed, got new brakes on the rear and got emergency brake and all hooked back up and bled the brakes. I went for a 20 minute drive at first to come back home and check for leaks, and all was great. Just got back from a 45 minute drive and it's going great. I know a lot of people followed this thread, and provided exceptional feedback and assistance to me, I wanted to follow up and give you guys the good news. Thank you to all!!!!!!
P.S. I have the other axle, in great shape, but needs ring and pinion replaced. Bearings are good, needs a pinion seal..but you would need that anyhow to repair it. If anyone wants it, and lives close by, come and get it!
