Unhappy Taking it off

I was wondering if someone could tell me what tools i need to get the top off my 95 xlt bronco?

Taking it off

Phillips head screwdriver to remove trim. I think a 10mm socket and ratchet. Thats what my '86 required

Taking it off

youll also need a t-50 torx bit for the seatbelts, and a t-40 tamper proof torx bit for the actual screw holding the cap down. you might also need a hand or two taking it off. this + a screwdriver was all i needed.

Right, the later-model Broncos have the tamper=proof Torx bolts. The 80's Broncos just have 13 10mm bolts. The top weighs in at 120 pounds. so it's a 2 or 3 person job to remove it.

Taking it off

The top can be reomoved by one person...its a kind of "turtle-walk" off the tailgate maneuver, but it can be done. Make sure you have something sturdy to step down on to from the tailgate. (Can't take credit for this info., Steve83 imparted this wisdom to me a few months back).
