Hi to all first thing first I'm new around here and here my first restored Ford F-350 1983 351w 4x4 auto I started a long time ago and now things are all done but seem to have a little road test problem . In town things are great but when I hit the highway around 110km/h blue smoke from the exhaust , would aprechiate if someone could give me a hand thanks mat .
This thing is carbed I'm guessing? If so jetting could be a tad rich which is washing oil from the cylinders and thus causing the blue exhaust. The old school tuning method of reading the plugs will help here and also tell you if you have other issues like a broken ring, bad valve seals, etc on one or more cylinders.
Oil smoke at that speed could be a PCV problem, with oil being sucked into the air cleaner on the fresh air side, or oil being sucked through the valve due to a defective or stuck PCV valve. Check you PCV connections on all sides.
Do you have a 3 speed automatic? That would be a C6, which has a vacuum modulator. It is possible to suck automatic transmission fluid, but I think that will be giving you a whitish blue stinky cloud at idle and other high vacuum situations.
Have you done a compression test? Do one dry and one with a bit of oil in the cylinders.
