No, you just don't need it.

It would work fine on a custom build vehicle or on a half ton pickup that didn't come with one at all. Better than the cheap parts store versions also.

It would be a downgrade for you.

Before the 6.0's came out, guys with 7.3's swapped in the 6.8 trans coolers.

Would I be better off just making the jump straight to the 6.0 cooler (eventually)?
If you were towing heavy and were needing to combat trans temps, then yes. But like Michael stated, you're fine with the OEM cooler you have.

Would this easily swap in place of a V10 cooler?

Mine's a little mangled looking and I'll have no way of knowing if it leaks or not until sometime in the future when I can actually start it.

Due to the various sizes of these coolers I would try to find a V-10 take-off from someone who has upgraded to a 6.0 cooler rather than downsizing to the 7.3 cooler. The 6.0 cooler upgrade is very popular around here so you should be able to find that has been replaced.

Just did a second look at mine- my mangled stock cooler has been disconnected and a larger aftermarket cooler in good shape is mounted on the other side.

Anyone happen to have (or know where to get) head rests for the 2nd row? Mine are missing. I figure I could check junk/salvage yards but haven't made time to do that since moving to WA.

I'll check my local JY today (looking for a new steering wheel) so I'll grab them if I see them.

Hey Apoc,

No worries. Really appreciate you looking.

I'll do some searching and find out. It's nothing urgent so I can wait.

Rear wheel body mouldings

I am in need of both side and factory step bars. Does anyone know anybody who has any of these?

Junk yards? That's going to be your best bet. Either that or CL for a newer set of F series steps. Expect to pay $300-$500 depending on type and condition though.
