[updated:LAST EDITED ON 31-Aug-02 AT 08:17 PM (EST)]I got 4 BFG A/T KOs put on today! They're 31" x 10.5" i decide to go with these instead of the 32x11.5s.
These are some nice tires!
They look really mean, they handle very well, they have the great BFG name behind them!
The only problem is that they have that funky new tire smell
Now my truck stinks.
I was supposed to have an alignment done but they said they could not do it because there was a problem with my front right lower ball joint... it looks fine to me. Oh well, i'd have to get it done again once i got my 2" front spacers anyhow.
The trucks really shaping up, and the tires are oh so nice.
I love my ford.
Now if only i had the money for a 4" lift... ooooh it would be so purdy.
The tires also give my first gear of my tranny a purpose other than hauling and going up hills. They make the first gear just long enough to be useful, and the second gear just high enough for me to not be able to start off from it (thus saving my clutch)
I drove a Jeep Wagoneer with Quad a Trac. And I happened to know a muddy road right next to a busy street. One day after a rain I went ahead and backed on to this road and waited.
Of course I had a friend along and I uttered those famous words "Watch this!"
A little white compact came along and just as it crossed in front of me I nailed the gas! The Jeep was in reverse pointed at the road.
The Jeep slung mud the entire length of the car, I mean the entire length. There was very little it didn't hit.
Their brakes lights come on and my friend shook his head and I just laughed. They never did come back. What were they going to do? Follow a Jeep down a muddy road?
I also put a set of the exact same thing on my 95 on Satuday. I like the looks and they drive great, much better than the Generals I had on before. My only complaint is they seem to throw up the gravel more, as I have 10 miles of it to the nearest highway. Anybody else experienced this?
No, they probably wouldn't try to follow you. More than likely they'll just talk to their neighbors, politicians, and local law enforcement about prohibiting us from the few places that we have left to wheel, enforcing lift laws, and further resticting what size tires and equipment on our trucks. Next time that little voice says "I shouldn't do this", take a moment and listen!

Those tires are natorious for throwing rocks. None of my freinds will ever fallow me down a gravel road. They get hosed with rocks.
