BC3Z-15200-BA XLT Fog Lights
#16
That is what they told me at the dealer where I purchased my truck. So not sure what to do here.
My best course of action may be to try to order the XLT kit, but not sure the dealer will install it if they don't feel like they can cover it under warranty with my build date which I will confirm but I believe is after 8/14.

If you don't mind turning a couple wrenches you should be able to isntall the kit yourself in less than an hour.
All you have to do is remove the black covers. Then install the brackets and fog lights.
There's a capped plug on the bottom of the frame below the radiator that you will plug the included harness into. Plug in the harness and attach it to the holes in the bumper using the push pin clips mounted to the harness.
Then go inside the truck and pop the panel with the headlight switch off. Unplug the old switch and remove it from the panel. Install the new switch and plug it in. Put the panel back.
Turn the key and enjoy your new foglights.
Fog lights should work by just plugging them in. The Auto headlamps will likely require a BCM reflash from the dealer.
I had this same problem when I bought my SD almost 3 years ago. I bought the XL kit with the new BCM and wound up throwing it away.

Just to update, kit was easy to install. And the "auto lamp" works, kinda.... it works in the sense when you turn the igniton on or off. lights go out when key is off. However, they will always be on day or night with key on which I find no problem with. I just have "daytime running lights"
