no battery light / no charge
I am having a charging system issue.
the alternator is making barley over 12 volts. With KOEO the battery light on the instrument cluster does not come on. I have already replaced both batteries and the alternator -before i noticed the battery light is not coming on.
any ideas?

Does it ever come on during start up and are you sure it's not a bulb?
Also, check the plug at the back of the alternator. I've seen the wires break there and give weird readings and no voltage. Also, what kind of alternator and are you absolutely positive the "new" alternator isn't bad? Wouldn't be the first.

This same thing happened to me a couple of days ago. I replaced alternator with one from autozone and it did same thing. I then took that alternator back to autozone for refund. I bought a Motorcraft one from dealer for 285 bucks. It works perfect.
