Well, now that we have two dogs I'm beginning to think about seat covers. Has anybody had good experiences with any particular models? When I owned a 96 Mustang with worn out leather seats I did a lot of research but despite all that, in the end had very poor results. Conversely, my buddy had a seat of generic seat covers he purchased on clearance from Gander Mountain for his Xterra that worked wonderfully...

I've had two covers from Orvis. I love their dog products. However there are other options depending on your needs. Carhart makes some nice covers. Lots of options for covers at Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops too. You'll want something intended for dog/hunting use as they are typically water proof and more durable.
I purchased a set of accessories seat covers for my 2011 F150 s/c. They are water proof and made by Cover Craft seat covers. The color match is pretty good in my opinion. And considering how complex the seats are in these trucks, I think the fitment is pretty good as well. You can check out early install pictures here. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-addition.html Keep in mind this is right after the first install. And the nice thing about these covers is that they'll shrink a bit from the sun giving them a much better fit. They also can be machine washed and dried. You can get them right from your dealers parts dept.
How often do these dogs ride in the truck? A blanket works well and will cover the floor too. If you don't seat belt the dogs then just fold up the seat and have the dogs lay on the floor.... no dirty seats or hassle with seat covers.
I have camo neoprene Wet Okaole's from Cabela's....great product! Be careful which brand you order from Cabela's. The first brand I chose tore twice quickly. I have no complaints with Wet Okole.
I have had cover king in my ranger for years never had a problem with them. I would also give the Katkins a try if you want leather my wife loves ones she got! I tried some brand of wet suit covers from bass pro shops that didn't hold long before they ripped right as the seams!
