Trying to Decide Which Expy ?
I am currently shopping for a a '99 or '00 Expy I have decided I definately want the 5.4L however, I need to plow with this vehicle I have contacted several snow plow dealers and have come accross varying oppinions. I realize this is not a vehicle to do comercial plowing. I am plowing my driveway (not that large) but I need to know can you put a plow on an air ride suspension or do I need to specificaly look for an Expy with out air ride? I know snow-way and Western and Curtis all have plows for the expy.
Any other members have a plow on thier ride comments would be appreciated.

like others, I don't recomend using the EXPY to plow but think it will handle a small amount of that work easily. . . I don't see a problem with the air suspension and actually think it may be a benifit to you.

Definitely go for the 5.4, particularly for the larger transmission. A friend of mine had a western plow-equipped '98 F-150 with a 4.6 that seemed a little too underpowered for the task.
