What is that for.......?
Or DO cover it if you want a cheap way to have daytime running lights (yeah, the tail/parking lights are on too, is that bad though?). I haven't done it yet, but I plan on darkening it with a black sharpie pen or flat black paint.

What is that for.......?
Check out your owners manual under 'Auto lamp'. If you turn the headlight **** all the way to the left (for Auto lamp) the lights turn on automatically when it gets dark. I don't use mine, I wanted the Security pkg for the keyless entry.
