C6 Transmission Problem

So I have a 1995 F-350 7.5 460 with a C6 automatic transmission.

My problem is I don't have 1st gear. My truck still goes forward but it takes off very like, sluggish I guess. I'm not sure how to describe it.
I can manually put it in 1st and it doesn't go anywhere.
If I put it in 2nd, or drive, it goes.

Theres fluid in it, and I'm not sure of any leaks but I don't see one anywhere.

It drives fine in reverse. And it doesn't do anything in 1st. If you put it in drive, it starts off in 2nd

The rear annulus gear is probably stripped where it connects to the output shaft.

Is there a way I can tell if that's what it is by dropping the pan? I was gonna do that tomorrow to see what the fluid looks like and my friend said that it could drop a gear? and i can tell if it did that by looking in the pan?

Nope. It must be stripped down.
