I blowed up!
Had a fair last night with a truck pull last night. Y'all can see where this is going..
Blew apart the rear conpanion flange on the rear diff. Connecting to the spin stick.
Problem is my local autoparts shops can't get it, Dealership hasn't called back yet, and junk yard closes before work gets out today.
I'll get it one way or another, but of anyone has any tips or stories to tell, that's the main reason I'm posting this. I got lucky, only a ujoint and the flange blew out.
What fun though!! As jezza would say, powwwwaaaaa.

Preventable...well if I don't leave the house tomorrow, that prevents me from getting into a traffic accident, just like how avoiding a little mud might prevent my no reason smile.
My point with this is I did have a blast, it was a stupid amount of fun to hook to the sled, and I'd do it again if I get the chance.

If I end up doing it again I'll probably fab a hoop around the shaft.

I blowed up!
Bristol dragway has street races here and guys will bring full size trucks up here and launch at redline. Tailgates go flying off, driveshafts and other parts left on the track, etc. Not something I would ever consider doing with my truck.
