Dana 44 needs 8 lug
I got a free dana 44 from a 79 bronco and want to put it in my 95 f-150. I have a sterling 10.25 in the rear so i obviously need to convert the 44 to 8 lug. I did the che-y swap on my ttb but the parts won't work because it looks like the spindle studs are spaced farther apart on the 79 axle than on the ttb. Basically i just need to know what to get parts from for making the 79 axle 8 lug. I thought i had read about using parts from a late 70's 44hd to do it but now i can't find the info when i need it. Thanks for any help.

What year f-250? I have some parts from like an 83 and they are the dual piston calipers and huge hubs so i'm guessing that they are the dana 50 ttb. Do i just need parts from an older straight axle dana44 in a 250? Also, will the rotor diameter and thickness be the same to work with the calipers and brackets that are on there?
